The Tax setting is one of the parameters to be defined at the beginning of the use of PMShotelier.

First you need to enter the Tax ID number allocated to your hotel/ restaurant by the tax administration of your country. This number will appear on all your invoices just below your logo.

Then, you can enter as many taxes as necessary in your country, because it often happens that the taxes are different depending on the nature of the service you are selling, accommodation, food or drinks.

The tax is defined with a name and a % of the value of the service. Once defined, you will then retrieve it when you create your room-types and the items of your POS.

For some rare services or products sold without tax, you can create a fictitious tax called “No Tax” with 0% value.

Again depending on the country where your hotel / restaurant is located, you can choose the right currency as well as the format of financial amounts
like:

You see an amount separated by a dot or a comma.

This option allows you to save banking information such as:
– Bank name
– Account number
– City
– Country
etc.
Banking information is used by “Pro-Forma” invoices when you wish to receive targeted payments.

In this section you can choose the language of the app, the time zone of your operations and the date format in use in your country with 3 choices:

– DD-MM-YYYY,
– YYYY-MM-DD,
– MM-DD-YYYY

Dashboard colors can be changed using this Settings section. By default, we’ve chosen doctor-recommended colors that are both easy to identify on a screen and non-straining on the eyes.

The POS Types list is limited to 7: Restaurant, Bar, Spa, Tours, Laundry, Shop and Others. Depending on your hotel facilities, you can activate or disactivate them in one click.

This important parameter will become the major tool of your CRM. It aims to follow the satisfaction of your customers step by step, from the initial reservation to the end of their stay and beyond. It helps to build a real relationship of mutual trust and to improve customer loyalty over the long term.

It consists of 6 automatic communication sequences by Email with your customers, each of which is customizable in terms of content, text and photos:

STEP 6: Booking Un-Cancellation (Sent immediately after un-cancelling a Booking)

These 6 tools are used by the best hotels around the world with very positive impacts on customer’s satisfaction and loyalty.

You can define a value by default of the deposit requested when the guest is booking on-line.
