What is a Property Management System?

A property management system is software aimed at automating the operations of a hotel.
It’s the hub of a property’s operations — processing reservations, check-ins and check-outs.
It keeps track of how many rooms you still have to sell and at what rate.
It handles front office accounting, marketing, as well as interfacing to other systems such as phones, reservations, restaurants, or POS (Points of Sales).

How much PMShotelier services cost?

From the “Pricing” page, you can easily calculate the amount of your monthly license fee.
It is based on three parameters:
Total number of PROPERTIES, ROOMS, and POINTS OF SALES.

Is there a user help manual?

The “Help Guide” is accessible anytime from the Application after logged-in on the top right of the screen.
You can also get technical support either by email or by Live Chat.

Can I rent multiple properties?

Yes. You can manage multiple properties in PMShotelier depending on your subscription.

What type of accommodations can I manage?

You can manage any type of accommodation. For example, Cottages, Villas, Apartments, Suites, etc.

Managing Your Account

How does the free trial work?

Signing up for the free trial opens a fully functional account.
You may use this account to test all of the functions of the system for free.
The trial period is 90 days, after this period expires, a payment is required to continue using the account.
Credit balances are non-refundable.

Do I need to sign a contract?

No. There is no minimum payment or sign-up period, but you need to accept the Terms and Conditions for using PMShotelier.
PMShotelier is a pre-pay, pay as you go service.
You may cancel your account at any time.

How do I sign up?

Complete the registration form, and you will receive your login details by email then your account is ready to use for free during 90 days.

How do I manage or cancel my account?

From you personal account, you can manage your subscription at any time.
Go to “Account Settings” from “My Subscription” Tab.

I have forgotten my password, how can I get a new one?

Click on the “Forgot Password” option at the bottom of the login page; enter your E-mail address to which you wish to receive the reset password link.
Fill in the new password and login with your new credentials.

Technology & Security

Can I install PMShotelier on my own server?

No, PMShotelier is only offered as a web application and is available exclusively on our servers.
PMShotelier is more a service than a software (Software as a Service (SaaS)) used by a Browser and Smartphones (Android & iOS).

Does PMShotelier offer online access for owners?

Yes, PMShotelier manages right access, not only for owners, but also for the staff.

What browsers are supported by PMShotelier?

PMShotelier runs via the Internet—not your local computer.
All you need is A Web browser or a smartphone (Android/iOS).
We recommend using Brave, Google Chrome, but you can use Mozilla Firefox, MS Edge, and Apple Safari.

What kind of internet connection do I need?

While high-speed internet access is recommended, PMShotelier also works well with cellular and satellite internet.
The reliability and quality of your connection is actually more important than the speed of your connection.

What happens if my internet goes down?

We recommend that you set up an alternate method of connecting to the internet, such as another high-speed connection through an alternate provider providing, for example, a cellular internet connection.
Because PMShotelier operates in the cloud, even if your internet goes down, the system will continue to update availability on your website and on any integrated OTA channels.

How secure is PMShotelier?

PMShotelier uses encrypted URLs, an SSL security certificate to secure and encrypt data by Let’s Encrypt Authority (4096 bit).

Is my data safe, are there backups?

Yes, our server provider creates a complete backup of your data so that your data is secured.

What languages are available?

PMShotelier is currently available in English and French.

Our head office is located in Geneva, Switzerland.

Is PMShotelier GDPR compliant?

Yes. PMShotelier complies with the GDPR data protection regulations.
