Orders for a Restaurant

  1. First enter the table name/number or tick the room-service, as appropriate;
  2. If the customer is a resident guest, select his Room. The system will automatically display his name (only if the guest is checked-in) as well as the breakfast condition of his reservation (Yes or No). The POS bill will be automatically transferred to the front Desk and added to the room bill;
  3. If the customer is from outside (nonresident) you can skip the Room field and enter his name manually. The POS bill will be paid directly on site by the customer;
  4. Then, you can start to take the order by entering the first letters of the item chosen by the guest, for example, by entering “fis” the system will automatically respond by “Fish & Chips” if this item is part of the menu;
  5. For each item selected, you can precise the quantity, the serving priority and specific requests by the guest such as gluten free, no salt, etc.;
  6. Once the order is complete, just click on CONFIRM. It will be split into several different orders depending on the place of production of the items. For example, beverages will automatically go to the tablet of the bartender, whereas the food items will go to the kitchen tablet;
  7. The waiter in the restaurant will automatically be warned when the item is ready to be served by a discrete sound on his smartphone.
