Room-Type Tab#1
The first one defines in detail the characteristics of a given type of room such as De Luxe Room or Suite or Villa, etc… All important details such as rates, taxes, comfort and occupancy must be entered. The field Description will be automatically used in our Smart Booking Engine. Pay a special attention to making it as attractive as possible.
Important features of PMShotelier are the notions of Rack Rate and Bottom Rate, both fields being filled in this section. The app embeds an automatic revenue manager which makes automatically fluctuating the rates according to the occupancy: 100% occupancy will automatically fix the rate to the maximum (Rack Rate) whereas 0% will fix it to the minimum (Bottom Rate). As you will see in the Revenue Manager section, this automatic feature can be replaced by a manual procedure and special offers if desired.
You have also to complete the Tax field. But, before that, you need to enter the taxes applicable in your country by going to the Settings section.
Amenities Tab#2
The second one is complementing the Property Amenities accessible from Manage Property. It allows to make a more detailed description of amenities available in the rooms.
It is also divided into 2 main sections (In-Room Amenities and In-Property Amenities). In order to facilitate the selection and the further reading by the guests, we divided the sections into sub-sections covering most of amenities currently found in modern hotels.
All amenities are sorted by alphabetical order. If you need to display an amenity which is not in the list, just send us an email. We will be pleased to add it to our standard list.
Photos Tab#3
The third one stores photos of the room-type. These pictures will automatically feed the on-line Booking Engine.
