As a part of the Manage POS functionality, this Staff functionality allows you to allocate to your POS staff precise responsibilities and access rights to the system.

As such, it complements the Manage Staff functionality of the main menu.

  1. You first have to define the Role Type (Waiter or Producer) and the Role Name.
    This distinction between Waiter and Producer is important: when an order is taken at the restaurant, it automatically splits and sents to the right place of production. In order to prevent the waiter from getting an order that has to go to the producer, we created this distinction very useful in the field;
  2. If you choose Waiter, it will have 2 consequences:
    1. the further field Place of Production will be hidden.
    2. At the bottom of the Add New POS Staff, the POS permissions section appears where you can decide which POS functionality will be accessible to the waiter.
  3. On the contrary if you choose Producer, you have to precise where is the Place of Production and the POS permissions section is hidden;
  4. Enter personal information and password.
